The Sitabai Thite College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1995 with the aim to impart quality education with a value-based system which would empower the upcoming generation.The college offers Diploma (1995) & Degree (2001) in Pharmacy. In near future College is coming up with Post Graduate & Ph.D. Research Centre. Presently the college is offering the B.Pharm & D.Pharm Course, the near future we plan to the offer the Post Graduate (M.Pharm) & Ph.D Programme. To the need of higher education in Pharmacy. The B. Pharmacy college came into existence under the name of Sitabai Thite College of Pharmacy in 2001. Presently the college is offering the B.Pharm & D.Pharm Course, the near future we plan to the offer the Post Graduate (M.Pharm) & Ph.D Programme. The Sitabai Thite College of Pharmacy (Poly) was established in the year 1995 with the aim to impart value based education with potential of self employment which was really a boon for the younger generation. The College enjoys the approval of various governing bodies like the India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) New Delhi, recognized by the Govt of Maharashtra and affiliated to the University of Pune & MSBTE, Mumbai for both B. Pharm & D. Pharm.
In the near future, the college plans to offer Post Graduate (M.Pharm) and Ph.D. programs to meet the higher education needs in Pharmacy. The B. Pharmacy college came into existence under the name of Sitabai Thite College of Pharmacy in 2001.
The College functioning is governed by Shri.Chhatrapati Sambhaji Shikshan Sanstha, Shirur (SCSSS) Governing Council and Local Management Committee. Shri Chhatrapati Sambhaji Shikshan Sanstha, Shirur was established in 1989 under the noble guidance of the dynamic, committed, visionary leadership of hon. Bapusahebji Thite, President and Ex-State Home Minister of Maharashtra State with the objective to provide quality education in the field of Pharmacy, Management, industrial Training Institute, and school education from Kindergarten onwards. The institutions managed by this society have maintained high academic standards and have successfully provided trained manpower to the industrial and service sector.
